Akacia Rose is a student, healer, musician, teacher and luthier based in Boulder, Colorado.
A student of the Vedic Sciences, she is an Ayurvedic Practitioner and is currently halfway through a four year program to become an Ayurvedic Doctor. She also serves on the board of the Colorado Ayurvedic Medical Association and is a Certified Rolfer.
Gifted with the opportunity to share instruments rarely seen or heard, Akacia explores the landscape of sound, new and ancient. The Handpan, known to many as the ‘Hang’, emits frequencies that enchant the soul. The Ngoni, an ancient African stringed instrument hand-built by Akacia herself, beckons the listener to arrive in the sweetness of the present moment.
